Cradock Agricultural Show

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]t the start of every summer, Cradock stages one of the oldest agricultural shows in South Africa.

It’s a weekend of fantastic horsemanship, prize livestock, heavy machinery and rugged bakkies. It’s also all about the braaivleis, the dancing and farmer festivities.

Next year Cradock celebrates its 200th birthday – and the Cradock Agricultural Show turns 150.

Here’s a quick set of images from the 2013 show – for more info go to www.capeboerperd.co.za

Are there any past pupils from Rocklands Girls High from 1970 – 71 still living in the area?
I’m thinking of coming up for the agricultural show and would like to meet and catch up on your news. Particularly ex Home Economics pupils.
